Yankee’s player, Jazz Chisholm, apparently had a 328-yard double eagle using a range ball and wearing a beater + beanie combo that would make your local starter blush.

He should frame the range ball. Legend

Who actually says double eagle? It’s an albatross damn it.

  3. paul6057

Dude plays for the Yankees and he’s stealing balls off the practice range?

I also can’t give any respect to someone that calls an albatross a double eagle.

You don’t need a damned collared shirt to experience the absolute joy of golf. Such fun.

At first glance I thought the thumbnail was from the Dave Chapelle ahow

  6. None_too_Soft

Nobody gonna comment on that range ball he’s using? I mean I get it if he’s new and doesn’t know better or whatever, but how is any respectable golf person letting a guy in their group use range balls on the course?

What would his club head speed need to be to get a range ball 320+? That’s pretty damn great. Almost as far as the average redditor can hit their 7i

The only reason I might believe this is Jazz has one of the cleanest (power generating) swings I’ve ever seen.

The only reason I don’t believe it is because home run derby.

  9. dknisle1

Every calling it a double eagle knowing damn well they’d say they got a hole in one in a par 4. 😂😂

A freaking range ball for an albatross is what dreams are made of

It’s crazy that one of them got an albatross and the other is on the green. I know they’re pro athletes, and baseball and basketball seem like the best sports to play that skills could translate to golf, but jeez it would be fun to be that athletic

Anyone recognize the ball he played? Everyone I’ve seen hit a hole in one before, played something dumb like a pinnacle. I actually recommend average players play average balls because it removes the psychology of “oh fuck there goes another 7 bucks” from your swing.

I doubt he’s playing the back tees. It looks like it’s around 298 from the whites, which I’m sure he could reach.

Looking forward to his signature line of golfwear

Bro did not do that with a range ball there is just no way

I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone hit a par 4 green with a drive at my club. I take that back. Once some old guy bounced it up the cart path and rolled it out onto the green on a dog leg while I was waiting to putt.

Im 30 years old, my dad bought me golf clubs for my 4th birthday. I have played thousands of rounds, have been a low-single digit handicap for over a decade, and i work in the golf industry. I have never had a hole in one or even holed out from more than ~15 yards from chip ins.

I have nothing bad to say about Jazz, but also fuck all these people who get random Hole in Ones or albatrosses with fucking range balls lol

  19. Naive_Letterhead9484

Impressive drive! But if you got money, why steal a range ball? 🤣

  20. tobaknowsss

It kills me that I invest so much time in practicing, getting lessons, doing drills, watching YouTube videos, and then playing golf but can barely get the ball to go 250+, but someone with natural talent who barely plays can just walk onto the tee and Smash it 300+, resulting in a hole in one on a par 4.

I’m more mad at myself, but I’m not sure why.

Range ball and wife beater, classic

  22. West-Confidence1495

Practice ball and a wife beater….only in America

  23. Nappy_By_Nature

To any of you ready to jump on the attire nonsense, I truly hope that it hurts you deeply that this dude ain’t in a collared shirt. This dude likely makes more per game than you make per year. Hard to gatekeep when ppl can just buy you, ya mama and ya little gate.

Enough Double Eagle shite – its an Albatross.

  25. RickyMAustralia

Double eagle is so dumb !! Just call it an albatross

    Well done though

  26. uofc2015

I feel like an old man yelling at a cloud but it’s an Albatross gosh dangit! I hate that even the commentators for PGA events are calling it a double eagle instead of the proper name.
